So recently I've been dealing alot with "Acceptance." Learning how to accept myself and those around me. I have come to the realization that GOD had to first accept me. Even in my worst state and condition. HE opened up HIS arms and accepted me. Once He accepted me the process began..but none of it would have been possible without acceptance first. I learned that along the way we might run into people who don't do things quite the way we think they should. So we might get angry at them, type cast them, shun them away, ignore they exists, or completely shut them out. Yet, true love is about acceptance first. I've had to learn how to even accept myself. Along the way I had done somethings in my life, and made some decisions that were pretty disappointing. I would run away from my own light so to speak. I had to learn how to accept the things about me that are different. Accept the things that made me who I am like the way I look, the way my voice sounds, the way I'm shaped, my teeth, my belief's & how they set me apart from the crowd. I also had to forgive myself for making errors and not acting like the woman I know GOD created me to be at times.

First acceptance, then agreement. First acceptance then unity. First acceptance, then understanding. First acceptance then compromise. First acceptance then true love. But only first with acceptance. If you accept people for who they are it's no telling what they will become. I thank GOD for first accepting me into HIS family, and for taking the time to show me HIS true love... and taking the time to share with me how to love.
"True love starts somewhere" with Acceptance.

Jewels Along the Way..."Diamond in the Ruff"---How did you end up so beautiful?

You, the diamond.

Diamonds are usually are found where volcano's have erupted. They are found in the most grungiest, dirtiest places. When I think of a diamond, and it being found in it's absolute worst condition, I have to ask myself, "How did it end up becoming so beautiful??" It looks like a dirty rock, filthy and unpolished. After someone takes this dirty rock in (because they know it has value), they clean it and begin to put it through "The Process."After the process is finished it comes out all shiny and beautiful, illuminating everything that surrounds it. It took me a while to see, even in it's worst condition and state, it is still a diamond. Even when it is going through "The Process" it is still a diamond, and even when the process is finished and it is shining for the whole world to see, it is still a diamond. Underneath it all, it has always been a beautiful diamond. Like diamonds, me & you go through this same type of process. Recently, I came to the conclusion that no matter how much I try to change myself, no matter how much I try to improve, underneath it all I have always been the same diamond.

You've always been just who you are, and GOD has always seen the finished product. HE is the one that

finds us, & HE is the one who recognizes our value, even in our most ugliest, filthiest state. HE takes us in and begins "The Process" of cleaning us up. Getting rid of the filth, like unforgiveness, poor self-esteem, anger, resentment, a nasty attitude, lying, stealing etc...What ever it is that is keeping you from shining like the diamond you are, HE gets rid of alllllll of that. HIS goal from the beginning was just for us to be able to see ourselves the way that HE sees us.

Imagine that you were able to see into the future, and let's say you knew Micheal Jordan as a child. You knew this kids value, even before his parents did. You knew that he would end up becoming one of the worlds greatest basketball players. You watch him as a child, and see him through his growing pains as a young man. You see him go through self doubt and poor self-esteem, you see him with his head down, making bad decisions, risking his future. You want to cry out & tell him who he is really is right??!! You want to scream, "Micheal shake it off, if you could only see...you're the greatest!" Now imagine how GOD feels about me & you. HE is crying out, "Don't doubt your self, hold your head high, practice at your craft, stop risking your future, you are the best, one day you and the whole world will know it!"

Don't get caught up into doubting yourself and don't let other's who can't see the finished product distract you form your goals. Whatever gift or talent GOD has given you see it through. IF GOD has started a process in you HE will finish it...and believe me, HE is right there cheering you on! HE sees the ending from the beginning, and has equipped you with everything you need to arrive. Just go through "The Process." I know it can hurt, but the finished product is sooooo worth it!

Though we may have been found in our worst condition and with all the potential in the world to shine. We have to go through "The Process" and cleaning and then we begin to come out shiny and beautiful. The thing about it is, we've always been this diamond. We've always had the brilliant qualities it takes to shine in this world. Many people just don't have the patience to watch you go through it...but most importantly do you?? Do you have the drive and the paitence finish going through the process? Do they know...and most importantly do you know, you've always been the same beautiful diamond underneath it all? "No more self doubt...just bloom."

My next "Posh Lady" of the week is Gwen Stefani. I can see her in so many of our bags, but I've chosen the "80's Lady" Clutch for starters, & trust, she represents it well.

Her style is sassy enough, chic enough, and she is not afraid to take chances. One thing I've noticed is that when a recording artist comes out with a clothing line it can tend to be cheesy. When it comes to some artist/designers, I've often ended up saying to myself, "Now they know they wouldn't be caught dead in that!" You can definitley tell that Gwen is "hands on" when it comes to her design and product and the quality is wonderful. Another thing I definitely can admire about her is the fact that she is an artist, a wife, a mom, and a great designer. It takes grace to wear all those hats ;) so Groupie takes our hat off to her!!!! Ladies & Gentlemen...meet Gwen Stefani our "Groupie Girl" of the week!

Being a young girl or woman full of passion can be challenging at times. Here is one of the jewels I've learned along the way.

Throughout my life I've learned that each and every time I stand for something I believe in, I am rewarded. For example, I have always had a belief in GOD and the thing that GOD stood for. I began to apply HIS words to my life. In relationships it would get ruff. This meant no sex until I was married...Abstinance. This meant showing up and being fashionable and flyy but not showing everything GOD gave you. This meant having standards for myself and setting boundraies for the people I let in my world. In the past relationships I've dealt with, I've been able to stand by and represent what I believed in and each time I did, I was rewarded. I was rewarded with a crown of respect even though the other person may not have agreed totally with everything I believed in. I was rewarded with a garment of honor. Each time a man or my friends would complain, they would come back and honor me for really being who I said I was. Not only was I being honored by man, or my friends, I was being honored by GOD. I've learned, when you are honored by GOD there is nothing anyone else can do about it. His light shines through you for the world to see and there is nothing that can stop you or stand in your way........except you. Now, it's not to say that we will never fall, or I never fell. I can garauntee you all that one day all of us will. In each stumble, or loosing balance there is a lesson to be learned. A lesson in humility, always being aware of your shortcomings to know that apart from GOD and His power you can do nothing. A lesson to see that it's not always about pleasing man or someone else, or even yourself at times, but its about pleasing GOD. I know it may sound bizzare, but in pleasing GOD first you are infact pleasing yourself and that will trickle down to everyone else around you. In a recent situation I was in, I fell on my face, and I mean hard. I comprimised what I believed, not for him, but for myself because it was something that I wanted so badly and I felt I had waited long enough for. The point is I comprimised what made me, ME. I didn't stand by what I knew for a fact to be true, and because of this, I began to loose apart of who I was. I began to reason myself out of doing what I knew was right and what I knew I stood for. In the end or "so called end" ;) I lost respect, I lost my honor in that situation, and my mind was unstable (always reasoning back and forth with myself) and I lost a friend. We can never comprimise who we are to get what we want. We can never comprimise who we are to please someone else. In the midst of our desires never loose focus on what makes you who you are, or what sets you apart. If a person can't accept you for who you are and what you stand for than there is no confusion, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt where that person stands in your life..but most importantly, if you you can't accept who you are than you know no one else will either. Through it all I've learned to accept who I am and where I am in life. To love the things that make me different, and to stand by what I believe in, always. In a sense I had to loose myself inorder to find what was here all along.

GroupieLove will be posting a "Posh Lady" that we could see rocking Groupie every week. This weeks pick is Amber Rose. She's sooo Groupie it's ridiculous! Though at times I'm not sure of the"Lady" part, "Poshness" is definitely in her vocabulary. I give her a huge GroupieLove kiss. One thing that GroupieLove looks for in a "Posh Lady" is "Consistency", though Amber's consistency is a tad bit shaky, she came out with a bang! I could definitely see her in our "Out to Lunch" Bag.
